Kathryn Korpan-Riddle, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kathryn Korpan grew up in McHenry and is excited to return to Northern Illinois. In 2007, she graduated from Carthage College in WI in 2007 where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. Dr. Korpan later attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. Following graduation, she pursued a year-long internship focused on small animal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary-Specialists in Charlotte, NC. Upon completion of her internship, Dr. Korpan practiced in Charlottesville and Williamsburg, VA.
Dr. Korpan attended the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) conference in San Antonio, TX, in August 2014, completing over 40 hours of continuing education. She attended lectures on gastrointestinal disorders, dentistry, nutrition, cardiac diseases, dermatological conditions and behavioral disorders. Attending these conferences allows veterinarians to stay up to date on the latest information in diagnostics and treatment modalities to better be able to treat your pets.
Dr. Korpan has always had a love for animals and enjoys numerous aspects of veterinary medicine, but her special interests include internal medicine and dermatology. In her spare time, Dr. Korpan enjoys hiking traveling, reading, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She shares her home with her dog, Jameson.
